What is the arrow designed to do?  Can you use it as a bowl for light oil or should I say bone dry

It is designed to... go straight as an arrow. It is a very hard clear polyester ball, probably the hardest on sale right now.
Since it has no true core, it will hardly roll, and it might only be useful on very dry lanes as a strike ball. Should be a perfect spare ball, though.

i can use mine easly on a very light oil condition and it actually hits very hard for a spare ball. but its a great spare ball and thats the main intention i got it for.
