BALL REACTION
I threw this ball on a short pattern on one lane, and a long pattern on the other and the ball hooked so much on the longer pattern. The ball reads very well and defiantly going to be a huge help to my arsenal for tournaments. I could play basically three angles with this ball. I could play very deep, hook the lane, and play down and in if i needed too!!

COMMENTS
Overall, this ball can do many things for me. On a heavy oil pattern, the ball never stops fighting. It comes right back to the pocket just how i like, and the carry is awesome. The only bad thing is when the lanes are bone dry, i have to keep it in the bag haha!! But the Bad News is one of the best balls that i have ever thrown!!

Specs:
Weight:15.04lbs
Pin: 3.3 inches
Top: 2.9

Layout:
Pin 3-3/4 from
CG 5 inches from PAP
Dual Angle: 90 x0 3-3/4 x 52

Pattern: Kegel Main Street
Lane Surface: Murray (NEW)

Report:
I drilled out the Bad News last night. I went with an almost label leverage drill. I wants something different but readable. The pin is 3-3/4 from pap and the cg is 5 from pap. We bowl on New Murray synthetics on a 41ft Kegel Main Street Pattern using the Kegel Fire Oil. This is by no means a Great Wall of China where you can throw it at the gutter and expect it to bounce. There is actual hang 5 and out. The first game i played in the track going 12 to 8. After my first few shots from practice and into game 1, I can see the Bad News being clean up front,
Strong Reving in the mids and a rolly continuous arc on the backend. The ball is not sideways at all compare to the Off the Chain. I was able to play that line for a while until the heads started to break down. You can see the ball pick up more and more once it touched the friction. By game 3 I was an arrow in playing 16 to 12 and my reaction wasn't bad as long as i executed good decent shots. I have to say this ball is definitely above a benchmark ball and a great compliment to the OTC.

LANE CONDITION

Length:39'

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):THS

COMMENTS

I rated this ball a 20-20. Drilled to compliment my Judgement (same drill) to give me a step down benchmark ball. Drilled 50x5x25, I gravitate more to skid flip reactions and this core and cover gives me a comfortable read for a polished particle solid. Length and pin deflection in my opinion is at its best. You can definitely build an arsenal starting with the Bad News.

Likes:Carry, Factory Surface

Dislikes:needs clean backends with the layout I have in it.

COMMENTS. the Bad News is Good News. Clean thru the heads, mild midlane reaction, and a continuous move down lane. I have shot 2 300's with mine with in a months time. my layout 55x3.5x55. very controllable. Lord Field staffer. Changing Bowling, One Bowler At A Time.
