If you had to choose 1 lord field ball to try...
« on: February 16, 2015, 03:17:42 PM »
If you were telling someone one LF ball to try, what would it be?  I'm looking to give them a shot.  Just for a typical house shot.

If I had to suggest one for medium oil for average revs, it would be the Exodus Solid. It was one of their originals and is a 2 piece ball with no filler, just like the old Lane Masters balls and several Roto-Grips. It had a nice strong but controllable backend, without being flippy.

I've use(d) several: Big Hurt, Higgs, and now on my 2nd Judgement.
I believe you'll make room in your arsenal once you try a Judgement.

OOB, very slight 4000 abralon, or 2000 my Judgements have been killer (moneyballs) for me.
The other balls are also great but are more suited for heavier conditions than the Judgement.

U would try one of the ones that I talk smack with.

Bury a strike and yell, 'Get Some!'

Guys, I've got 'Bad News'

You know that strike was 'Off the Chain!'
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Exodus is a good bench mark ball. A friend of mine wanted to try LF and he got the exodus. after trying the exodus for a couple of weeks, he got two other LF/LM balls to finish his bag for leagues.

He reported to me that he shot 700 the second league night with it. Few months into it, he is now plus 20 some pins over his average. Like what Charlest said, he reported a strong but controllable backend motion with it. Very continuous through the pin.....

I would highly recommend the Bloody Cross. It is by far the smoothest rolling ball I have ever used. I would also recommend any ball in the Exodus series. Those are the most powerful balls I have ever used. I'm not just saying that because I'm on LF/LM staff, but because it's true.
