Any high rg/high diff with stronger cover?

It seems the only ball I can find recently that used a high rg high diff core and a stronger cover is the Motiv Primal Rage.

I've looked at the Track 400A and Tour X that use the DNA core and the Hammer Spike's that use the BW Nasty core, but im looking for something that has a cover not so push happy like on those balls

The Cruel Intent has recently been discontinued but is still available. It's exactly what you describe.

Just out of curiosity, why a strong cover with a highish RG?
Higher RG balls are going to tend to be "push Happy".

Most polished balls with medium-high RG cores (~2.55) do tend to have fairly aggressive coverstocks once some surface is added to them (2000-3000 grit).
RG Hysteria - RG: 2.58, Diff: .049

Also even if the differential is only moderate, say in the .040 - 0.45 range, adding a P3 or P4 weight hole drastically increase the overall and the intermediate differential.

Try and find a Track Flare bowling ball. The RG 2.61 and the diff is .078 .   I had picked up a used one on ebay a few years back and loved the ball until the cover cracked. If I can find another one without having to break the bank I'd spring for one.

you should listen to what Charlest says above.
he is so right on with that advice.
you want something that is predictable and controllable
the higher RG, higher diff pieces are a bit to over/under for me (IMO)
you should be able to to pick from many pieces out there and dial in the surface first, adding weight hole later (if possible)

what lane conditions and what are your specs

I know this ball has very popular and is a hot seller
might be what you are looking for
cover is plenty slick, (probably why it has 1000 + polish)
with the right layout, it may be what you are looking for

I think the B.W. Red Legend would provide more length than what SV is looking for if he wanted to stay Hammer then I'd the the original B.W. Legend over the B.W. Red Legend.

Maybe the Brunswick Fortera Intrigue, DV8 Thug Unruly or Roto Grip Sinister. They all seem to be on the stronger side with higher RG/DIFF and are known to be pretty strong.

The main problem is we don't know what he is looking for or why he specified a core with those characteristics. Until we do, we just taking stabs in the dark at an unknown target.

I actually just started this topic to see what people had in mind about this topic. I'm not really looking to get a ball right now, just wanted to see people's opinions.

I'm really analytical in my thinking and found it interesting that you don't really see a high rg high diff core with a decently strong cover in any of the recent releases.

Also it seemed interesting where the one I came up with in a small amount of research was the Primal Rage from Motiv (2.55, .050) and it was a very popular release even with Motiv hyping it a lot

It also depends on how you define high rg.  All 2 piece balls have lower rg than the old 3 piece.  Real low ( > 2.50 ) started popping up in the late 90's.  Also the more the differential, the lower the rg must be on the pin axis.  For example a ball with a .06 differential couldn't be much higher than 2.54 on the lower end of the axis without introducing some very low density core material.  I have never cared for high rg balls with pearl covers.  High rg worked pretty well when particle covers were in vogue.  Also, while I like low rg, my favorite layout is a long pin which puts the effective rg in the high end.
