Best ball of 2016 and why
« on: January 19, 2017, 02:11:36 PM »
What do you feel is the best ball of 2016 and justify your answer. Of course, there  will have heavy oil performers, medium oil and dry lane balls.......... Just simply state what ball and why you think it was the best. Let's not get too technical, or because it was made in the USA. Let's have some fun.
And GO!

Scandal
Code Black
No Rules

I don't have a problem with this list - although EBI is not as popular in NYC right now and I did not see too many Scandal's during 2016.

And during December, there was a night with 8 bowlers on my pair and 6 were throwing a Code Black.

Personally, I'd like to throw the Phaze II on the list.  This is the first strong symmetrical solid that I've had success with.

Vintage Danger Zone.  It rolls great, takes well to surface changes, is effective on a wide range of conditions and did exactly what it was marketed to do.

For me it has been the GB2 Phenom, Delirium Shock,  and the Rebel pearl. These three balls have carried the load all season for me. League, tournaments, and on sport conditions it has been a great part of my arsenal.

The Red Legend Solid has been right there with them.

Sadly I keep buying other stuff ive not had a chance to drill because of these lol. Not a bad problem to have.

900 Global X  A smooth solid the takes well to cover adjustments and carries very well. allows you to square up and keep striking. what's not to like? also off the hype radar.
The harder I try the harder they fall
