As much as I like Hammer, I think I'd go with the Scholar.

The Panic does seem to be getting a lot of really good reviews like the Shock

I've only seen videos of the Scholar and that ball goes long and is very angular. That being said, I do own the B.W. Red Legend and the ball seems to be the reincarnation of the original B.W. Pearl.

I am happy with my purchase of the B.W. Red Legend, but I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on purchasing the Scholar.

I do but its drilled pin down with long pin and high angles.

Looking for something else that's long n strong. Id get a 2nd Skid but what fun is that?

My dad and I both subscribe and neither of us have received the March issue yet.  I know BTM reviewed the Red Legend, but I'd have to check to see if they did the Scholar also.
