Experimenting
« on: July 31, 2017, 09:28:21 AM »
I love EBI equipment.  My Gauntlet, GB2, and GB2 Phenom Pearl are my go to's.  However, I can't limit my choices.  Any recommendations for a good medium volume THS piece for the upcoming season?  I was thinking about the Code Red, Marvel Pearl, or Honey Badger

What kind of motion are you looking for?

My bad.  Not really looking for a specific reaction.  Skid/flip or continuous would be ok.  Just experimenting with other companies

Honey Badger is sweet looking, and as always, everyone should try out an Ops. Black or Covert, depending on how much ball speed you have. Code Red is going to be very close to the Covert, but I love the motion of the Ops weightblock. The Honey Badger seems to be more off the spot than the Covert, but the Covert will handle more oil.

I still have an original Marvel Pearl and tbh, with the strong layout I have on it, it's a little too strong off the spot for medium patterns. I think that Brunswick Inferno and Honey Badger would be two balls that I may try this season. A lot of people are going to have personal bests with those two.

Thanks.  That Honey Badger is looking pretty good.
