The course of action I would take depends on a few things.
1. was it bought locally, or on-line?
2. If bought on-line, do you want to wait to return it and get the replacement?
3. If bought on-line, will the seller replace it?
4. If it doesn't affect performance, is looks that important? (they are to some)
If an on-line seller shipped it to you, they will likely claim the damage happened during transit, and may try to put it off on the shipping company, which will only prolong the process. You will then POSSIBLY have to wait for the claim to be settled before anything is done.
