Control Layout - RG HyperCell
« on: January 19, 2015, 01:41:43 PM »
Has anyone tried putting a control layout (pin next to ring finger) on a RotoGrip HyperCell?

Bowling on Abbey Road.
The amount of oil outside 5 seems to vary week to week.  One week I could play up the 3 board with a miss right did not result in a gutter.  Next week ball never reached the pocket playing up 3 (same ball - RG Shooting Star - pin in ring - 2K).  So an alternate line that seems to work is to swing the ball (6-8 at arrows) out to 3-5.  Ball (Wicked Encounter - pindown - 1K) comes up light or leaves the 1-2-4 if I get outside of that 3-5 area.

So was thinking of getting a stronger ball to give me more area with either line above.
The RG HyperCell seems a good choice.  So wondering how a control layout on that ball would roll. Hopefully not make it to early?

What happens if you adjust and play between 10 and 15?

That worked - moved in a few boards with the Wicked Encounter!  Didn't think I'd have hold to the left but I did. Thanks.
