Dexter S9 cutting advice
« on: September 23, 2016, 02:31:07 PM »
I just started bowling at a new center and I'm having slide issues. S8 is not enough and the S10 is too much slide, so I ordered an S9.

On Dexter's site they show all the options for cutting down the sole but don't really say what each cutting option does.
For those who have used these what do you think works best: white fingers up or down, and more or less  of the white?

I use two of them. If you have the S8 side toward the heel of your shoe, it's a nice step up in more slide than the S8 sole, then I have one with the S10 side toward the heel of my shoe, that gives a little less friction, but not the extreme slide that an S10 gives you.

I find that having both is the ultimate way to fine tune.
