After MANY years of trying, I finally bowled my first 800 series tonight - 269-276-299 for an 844!! I left a stubborn 10-pin on the last ball for 300 but at least I kept it in play. ;-)
Funny, my friend HATED his Zero Gravity so we traded some equipment and these were my first three games bowled with his old ball. Suffice to say that I like the ball a weeeee bit better than he did. Interestingly, my friend won a sidepot already with the ball I traded to him (a 706A) so this is a nice trade that worked out for both of us.
