Finger Inserts
« on: July 22, 2017, 11:18:16 PM »
Is there a real difference between oval lifts, the ones with the lip in them and the ones with the nubs in them?  I use normally the ones with the lift in them but today tried a plain oval and noticed no difference.  Gonna try the nun ones next.

I've tried them all. With the nubs, a slight feel difference. but it's not like you're going to get more lift or revs on ball with it. The only difference with grips that can change that is those that add pitch compared to those without.

Did like the way the numbs felt - but they wear out quickly.

Typically, using the lifts or nubs cause squeezing of the grip or increased grip pressure.
Try the oval of flat side if you must have finger grips.
A relaxed grip with minimal pressure is essential for good fundamentals and timing
