Gear league at amf

I'm thinking about joining a gear league at amf. They give you 2 balls at the end of the league. You can pick 2 between the fire quantum, dv8 pit bull, scandal pearl, and the ebonite maverick. Which 2 would you pick?

Would depend on what ball reaction I'm looking for, but I'd personally go Fire Quantum and Maverick

I would choose the Pitbull and Fire Quantum. They compliment each other and would give you a ball with a strong solid coverstock, and a great pearl ball.

Pitbull and Fire Quantum.

+1 Mostly because of the different shapes but you can cover a lot of different conditions with those two.

I wouldn't go with anything Made In Mexico.
Balls: Motiv Trident Abyss, Motiv Golden Jackal, Motiv Hydra and Motiv Hyper Sniper. All made in the USA.

You're missing out on some good equipment then.

But I echo the above recommendations of the Pitbull and Fire Quantum as those will cover a wide range of conditions

For me it depends on what else you have and/or whether or not you're going to be drilling up the two new balls right away. All four of them are great but each offer something a little different on the lane.

Starting from scratch as a 1-2 punch I would probably go with the Pitbull and Fire Quantum. The Pitbull is earlier and stronger overall than the Maverick and fits better as the ball above either of the other two options. The Scandal Pearl or the Quantum make a lot of sense underneath but from what I've seen I prefer the latter as a ball-down option.

Buy American when you can....the job you save may be your own.

I'm not missing out on any great balls. There are enough great bowling balls made in the USA that no one should buy a ball made in Mexico. Balls that cost hundreds of American workers their jobs for a few bucks in profit.
