Purple Hammer and Friends
« on: March 06, 2018, 12:58:38 PM »
Ever since picking up a Purple Pearl Urethane, I have had success with it. Pretty much my best look on even house shots if there is friction to the right and oil to the left. However, I find myself reaching a point in which the Purple is a bit to early and slow to throw as I get close to 5th arrow. It's not out of play, but not ideal as I'm fighting early hook (from track burn), carrydown (becomes a bit cliffed or wet/dry). Also looking for something stronger than the Purple Pearl Urethane. Thinking the BTU Pearl for the weaker alternative and Black Widow Urethane for the stronger. I have a Pitch Black and other old urethanes, but they don't really fill the void.  Also considering the Blue Hammer (I know it's a really mild reactive) for the weaker alternative (as it seems to be slower). Just want to hear thoughts on this.
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP
Interests: Black Widow, Proof Solid, Idol Pearl

BTU pearl probably won't be weaker than a purple hammer even if a bit longer.  Blue Hammer will be (about only thing longer and weaker is plastic) and longer still as well (definitely recommend as price is good).  Black Widow is as strong as urethane comes.  Visionary The Crow would also be a good choice for a stronger symmetric urethane option (love how smooth mine is).
