Losing tilt too fast
« on: July 28, 2016, 11:32:11 PM »
*Didnt feel I worded my similar post accurately.

I feel as if my balls lose tilt too fast and the core is sitting up too early before the ball makes a strong drive through the pocket. When looking for balls, should I look for certain traits like high RG vs low RG, high diff vs low diff, and pin-up drilling etc to match the fact that I don't have a lot of rotation and tilt?

Thanks!

Interesting- I did the equipment recommendation tools for Storm, Roto-Grip, and Track. Here are the results. What I'm thinking that has worked lately for my roll is a weaker/higher RG ball with a stronger drilling. Anyways, let me know if it looks like a certain characteristic stands out based on these results.

Storm
Light/ML - Ride (I have one and drilled strong is beautiful)
Medium - Sky Rocket
MH/H - IQ Tour

Roto- Grip
Light - Hy-Wire
Medium- Eternal Cell
Heavy - No Rules

Track
Light - Heat
ML/M - Legion
MH - Cyborg
Heavy - Paradox Pearl

Surface will have the greatest effect on your ball reaction. That would be the first place to start. Try higher grits or polish on existing surface texture. Or polish on higher grits. There is no perfect answer on surface. If after changing surfaces multiple times yields the same results, you need to get with a reputable PSO and get your speed, PAP, axis tilt, and axis rotation. From there, he will be able to use this information to set up a few layouts for you. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I will certainly play with surface and see what kind of looks that gives me!
