Mass Bias Placement
« on: April 16, 2018, 05:10:48 PM »
What type of reaction can I expect with the mass bias placed in the track if I remember correctly it was an hook set type motion.

Can we perhaps add a comparison, like compared to near the thumb and near the VAL?

Thanks VW. It's good information, but from a MB relative to VAL viewpoint, for example the skid flip layout, it actually seems to infer that MB has no relationship since its position relative to the VAL is different distance for different tracks in the same theoretical layout. However, it also demonstrates an example of the MB past VAL, which I was also curious about. All knowledge is great, thanks again.

Mass bias effect is based on three factors
1st is mass bias strength
2nd mass bias effect is predicated on existing flare created by primary pin to pap distance
3rd mass bias effect is based on degrees/distance from pap nothing else...not based on grip or the imaginary VAL

This PDF may be more appropriate. All of the "A" positions have the mass bias on the track.
