Need ball advice...
« on: April 11, 2014, 04:35:55 PM »
Hey guys.. I could use some advice as to a ball choice to go under my Pin-Up Crossroad and Pin-Up DV8 Terror... The crossroad is at 2000+polish and it works great for anything medium-heavy to medium light and allows to open up the lanes a little where as the terror (box finish) for me is a smooth archy piece and is a great ball down from the CR.. but after that I don't have anything to ball down to... Had a tropical breeze and hated it

I have been looking at the Hy-Road pearl, Lights Out and Ringer Platinum...

Any comments about these or recommendations would be great...

Stats... 15-16mph... high track... tweener

The ringer platinum is a good choice when you need a ball that is going to clear the front part of the lane but still have enough to turn the corner. I think that it would fit what reaction you are looking for in order to ball down from a Hell Raiser Terror. I would suggest a pin up drilling to give it the length, and keep the box surface.

May give the Radical Grease Monkey a look also. It will fit nice in you line up with a pin up drill.

Lights Out, Wrecker, and the Grease Monkey are all pretty versatile, hybrid bowling balls.
