Facebook Bowling Groups
« on: October 13, 2017, 09:39:20 AM »
Anyone else find it a challenge to not go through and comment on the flood of inaccuracies spread on posts in the Facebook bowling groups?

Not because I want to be right about something but to purely help educate and avoid incorrect information to spread so much it becomes gospel.

Luke, with your your YouTube channel, they would be stupid to get rid of you. You provide the best insight into ball reaction out of any videos I have ever seen. And although you don't work in a pro shop anymore, you have a large presence here to make up for it. You sell equipment in your own way

Haha yes. It's not creepy Doom. I don't think it's too hard to figure out

In regards to the original post, some of the stuff is pretty ugly. I just bite my tongue and dont bother

I see the same few spam the crap out of them. Bill must not be as obvious as Jerry Kessler in the USBC page.

*correction* just scrolled by some of your comments Bill hahaha.

Fortunately there is always the "BLOCK" option. God bless Facebook just for that LOL  ;D

But I agree with the OP, it is so hard to read some of the comments by people who for are the typical know-it-all than I rather block them and try to move on... The only issue I have with that is that sometimes I am reading a post and I just see a guy talking by himself and then I think "Oh, I probably blocked the guy who is talking with him"

The Motiv and the Storm/Roto groups are fascinating, you have guys like that Josh Shoemaker who is always making sure that we know that he is a staffer (God knows why) and he is obviously on my block list, you have another Mr. know-it-all like Michael A Lane who is always arguing and trying to be the smartest kid in the class and some others that I didn't even give them the chance and after their first comment they went directly to my block list... Gee, I am gonna end up with no one to read on Facebook! LMAO  ;D

All forms of media right now are pretty toxic, and people would rather believe inaccuracies because the truth often isn't as dramatic or fun.

The Motiv board particularly is fascinating.  No idea how Justin Wyman doesn't strangle himself reading some of that stuff.

I admire Justin because of that, I don't know how he keeps answering every single stupid question they ask him... #Respect

Unfortunately I know him too LOL   ;D

He is probably one of the most uninformed, closed minded people I've had read/heard in my life... He was the "most loyal" Motiv guy ever (or so he said), the day after he is loyal to Storm and when he struggles he always blames the company and not his poor game... I think he is now winning lots of money and regionals using Ebonite LMAO

I have lots of funny memories about him and some things he has said through the years... Actually, why is he not bowling on the PBA yet?  ;D

I bet he and Josh a.k.a "Yes, I'm a staffer" Shoemaker can make some noise on the tour ;)
