Overseas Ball dilemma
« on: March 12, 2018, 02:17:57 AM »
Ok so I have an obvious hole in my bag. I have a dare devil trick and no rules pearl which compliment each other nicely but nothing below it. I’d like to have a ball down for when the lanes break down. I don’t have a big rev rate so those two work for me mostly but a weaker piece would be nice. I’ve been looking at a couple balls to fill that gap.

The dilemma. I’m overseas in japan and can easily buy and bring home an overseas ball. Except all the cool ones I’d like, I don’t necessarily have a need for. The one across from my hotel for example had a storm intense focus, a roto grip pure cell or a hy-wire climax. That’s just at this pro shop, there’s a few more close by.

So I guess, if you were me, would you just fill a need or take a rare chance to get an overseas ball without having to pay the shipping cost for overseas

If an overseas ball will fill the void in your bag, I would get it.  If it doesn't then wait until you get stateside and get something that does fill the void.

Another thought...if its as easy to bring them home as you say, you could buy a few of the overseas gems and re-sell them for a nice profit or keep them for when you have another void in your bag.

Overseas ball. Any overseas Hy-Road, IQ, Phaze, Marvel, or other mid-range symmetric using R2S Pearl would be my vote.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

Apparently storm came out with an overseas IQ tour solid II. It’s all blue solid with yellow writing. I just hate throwing boring looking balls. Needs more color for me

The logo color is literally the only difference from the stateside one. Probably wouldn't bother with it unless you really like yellow writing over the red.

Ok so the pro shop by my hotel doesn’t have any marvels or cool IQs but they do have the timeless se, the hyroad active and the new hyroad black pearl. I think a USA ball is gonna have to wait

more options for me now. Stopped at a different location pro shop. Seen a whole bunch of codes I can choose from now. Code purple, code black nano, code 30, code zero, code star, code perfect or code red limited. Also a hyroad live. Time to do more research haha

And thanks to Marc arca for pointing me in the direction of that pro shop. I got there late and nobody was working but it’s still easy to see everything
