Another "what should I get" thread
« on: April 26, 2017, 05:10:10 PM »
Currently have a dream big solid for an oiler with a forza as my upper mid control piece. Have a pitch black for the bottom end of my back. I want something to fit under my forza that is clean through the fronts with a somewhat angular move in the backend that isn't like it was kicked sideways. Will be a benchmark ball on dryer/wooden lanes. I like a little bit of angularaity to help kick corners out later in a block. (what I feel is a stereotypical hybrid reaction)  Is there something out there, from any brand, that fits the bill, or am I asking for too much?

I think the IQ Tour has that shape and strength you are looking for on today's oils.

No need for 3 solids on wood!

Good point
I would agree if it were 3 early rolling pieces.

However, OP wanted something hybrid-like and benchmark.  That is why I suggested the IQ Tour which has an extremely versatile cover.  OP has also stated in the past lower dif balls or anything polished and controllable works best for him.

But any internet suggestion should be taken with a grain of salt.
