Symmetrical ball upgrade
« on: July 14, 2017, 11:17:31 AM »
Hi All:

I (right-hander) have a Venom Shock with the pin one inch above my ring finger and one inch right of it as well.  I wanted to get the same layout on a stronger symmetrical ball.  Af first I was considering the DareDevil Trick but am concerned they may be too close too each other, performance-wise (especially if I hit the Shock with a 2K pad).
So would something like the Global Truth be a better, more significant step up in the world of symmetrical solids?
A hybrid would be ok too I guess, but not a pearl. Thanks.

Others ' will chime in and be more informative, But the DD Trick is a clear step up from the venom shock.

Both the Trick and Truth are a clear step above the Shock

Forza SS in a few weeks will be your clear step up.

Because of the lower diff, The Daredevil Trick and Truth will be a flat out step above. Bigger diff and stronger covers. I compare the Venom Shock to the IQ Tour and my DD and Tour are a full arrow apart.

Any idea if the ForzaSS will be stronger than the Dare Devil Trick?

Not saying the Shock is the same strength as the Trick, but the Shock is stronger than the IQ Tour. I haven't seen the Trick in action yet, but for me, the Shock is pretty strong considering the light-medium range Motiv has it in.

Can't say I've been as impressed with what I see from the Truth as I have with the Dare Devil Trick. I would go either Dare Devil Trick, Forza SS, or Phaze II.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

I agree, I haven't liked anything I've seen from the Truth Solid. The Pearl looks pretty good though. If you can get your hands on one, a Ninja SE would be a good solid ball up.

The Trick is definitely stronger than the Venom Shock. The Trick conpares more to the Forza imo.
