Any insight into how to attack the Alcatraz oil pattern?

It all depends on the bowling alley. Where I bowled, I started with a breakpoint around 9-board using a Reax Gusto (pin down). Eleven games later I played fifth arrow out to about the 13-board using an old Track Sensor II (pin-down). I also made two big moves left along with a few smaller moves left.

What's the length of the buff?  Anything 40 ft or longer will transition quickly inside 10.  How far left and how fast you move depends on the surface, your style, and how the other guys are playing them
