What do you think is the best bowling ball cleaner out there?

I'm currently using Ultimate Black Magic rejuvenator ball cleaner. Before my pro shop use to carry Powerhouse Power Wash which I thought was very good at cleaning my equipment, the Ultimate seems to work well, just doesn't leave a tacky feeling on the coverstock like the Power Wash did.

The best cleaners marketed as bowling ball cleaners are not permitted to be used during competition. For my money, they are

Clean and Dull
Lane Masters cleaner
Hook-It

For use during bowling, the best cleaner is Valentino's Remedy.
After that (in no particular order),
Knockout
Zapp-It
Black Magic Rejuvenator
Liquid Nitro

Thanks for the info charlest. I have been looking for a good cleaner that is approved during competion, since C&D is now unacceptable.

I primarily sold Powehouse Powereash until trying Valentino's Remedy RX. I. Have switched to Valentino's Remedy RX as my primary cleaner sold in my shop. I have been really satisfied with the product and feel you are getting a better value for your dollar. Would also recommend Valentino's Snake Oil and Valentino's Resurrection.

I didn't want to seem to be excessive in my praise for Valentino's products, but now that you have initiated it:
They have no product that I would rate less than excellent to superlative!

Just saying what??

The more aggressive cleaners mentioned (C&D, Lane Masters, Hook-It) are superior in every way to a generic household cleaner like 409. It's beyond debate.

In this case, you get what you pay for.

I have been using tac up for over a year, and it works really well.  It is a cleaner and doesn't alter the surface of the bowling ball.

Has anyone ever tried the Powerhouse Adrenaline Ball Wipes? Sounds like an interesting product, though I hear the smell isn't so pleasant.

I love 'em actually. And yea, the odor is a bit much. Kinda like dirty socks, but on serious steriods! LOL

But they do a great job. I don't use them as an everyday cleaner but great for when away from home. I keep them in my bag for tournaments, you can grab one, clean your stuff between sets and there is no danger of spilling etc. Highly recommended and they work as advertised.
