Effects of Grit Under Polish?

Has anyone measured the effects of different under grits on polished surfaces?

AFAIHL the effects will depend on the bowler''s release/delivery specs and the lane surface and the oil amount on which the ball will be used, in addition to whether the polish is considered to be non-abrasive or abrasive, Besides the grit level under the polish.
