what books do you own?
« on: July 13, 2017, 11:43:26 AM »
My first book was given to me from my first PSO who taught me how to use his press and drill my own ball. This was back in 2001/2?? I forgot the name of the book, but it was on ball dynamics and had a ballerina in those pages lol. Thin book, I guess for PSO's.

These are the other books/authors I have:

John Jowdy - with brian voss on the cover "bowling execution"
Dean Hintz - also with brian voss on the cover focused on bowling.
Mark Baker - The Game changer
Ric Hamlin/Justrico - Head Games: Mental approach to bowling

My question is... do you have or have read these books? What's your take on these books?

John Jowdy - bowling execution 2nd edition
Dean Hinitz - bowling psychology
Brian Voss - bare bones bowling
Does a round object have sides? I say yes, pizza has triangles..

aka addik since 2003

The Game Changer - Mark Baker  (absolutely brilliant)
Head Games - Ric Hamlin co-authored  (good stuff on the mental side)

Agreed, these two books together is kinda like a "one two punch".....

One bowler at leagues enjoyed "bare bones bowling" told me to check it out.

Try Tom Kouros' Par Bowling. The only book you'll ever need.

Head Games as well. Great to re-read from time to time. Hard not to laugh at myself when reading some of the stuff mentioned that I've done before.
