I just put into service a brand new Storm Super Natural and I think I will use if for almost all spares. It is so predictable that it seems to be a "natural" (pun intended) for this usage. Anybody else use a urethane ball for a spare bell, including corner pins?

Motive Artic Sniper. Probably not what you were asking about, but it is urethane and has an actual core.

I started using the original Natural for spare ball about 4 years ago. Now use a blue hammer. I think my spare shooting improved when I went with urethane. Had a 40 clean in the BJ the first season. Also made a few bucks with the urethane on tough short patterns and over under house shots.

I use my storm Pitch Black, reacts as smoothly as a plastic ball.

I've used the Urethane Power Groove since it came out. Urethane is more durable than polyester. With it polished it's been great.

I use an old Ebonite Turbo Urethane....that ball has the typical turbine shaped core. IT does not move...

I find urethane particularly useful on tough right side combinations like 3-6-10. Polyester sometimes squirts and sometimes makes a small move unless you have 20+ mph ball speed. Urethane makes a small but predictable move on those combinations.

I use the Storm Urethane red-silver MIX. Works great for all pins on the right side for RH bowlers, especially for the 3-10 split.

Last year I used a desperado le. This tear I drilled up a rebel tank with the pin under the middle finger and polished it.

I currently use a Karma Urethane. I have used urethane for years on spares. It works very well.

I've had a natural pearl for about 5 years. I flatten out my wrist anyway so I wasn't worries about hook but it us much more durable than plastic and another option on short patterns
