Forza GT Compared To Revolt Vengeance.
« on: June 20, 2016, 11:16:19 AM »
Can someone please explain the differences between the Forza GT and the Revolt Vengeance related to lane play? Also, would the Forza GT be a good replacement ball for the  Revolt Vengeance should I decide to get a new ball?
Balls: Motiv Forza GT, Motiv Primal Rage Remix, Motiv Ascent Pearl and Motiv (On The Ball) spare ball.. All made in the USA.

In the thread MOTIVmags made on the GT:

How does this compare to the Revolt Vengeance?

It will be earlier, smoother and stronger.

Most of us who use motiv do not have the Forza GT yet, so no way to give an answer.

I saw Motivmags comment. However, since the Revolt Vengeance is a medium/heavy ball and the Forza GT is a medium ball, it doesn't make sense without further details to back it up. Why would a medium be earlier and stronger than a medium/heavy?

surface prep. Knock your vengeance down to 4k lss and it will probably be stronger. The vengeance has a stronger core than the Forza line. Every release will not fit in your arsenal, but I feel this one will be a good benchmark and a step above my shock.

Motiv's website has the Forza GT rated stronger than the Revolt Vengeance too. 14 length, 55 hook, and 16 backend vs. 15 length, 53 hook, and 18 backend. I agree that it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense given their listings in the categories and ball chart, but they seem to think it's pretty strong. Of course the original Forza is also listed as stronger than the Revolt Vengeance so...

You know all the staffers.....they say what ever to promote their equipment. Try not to buy into their hype and look for good non-staffer imput. It might take a little longer for that info to arise, but well worth it

Like all truisms, it isn't true all the time.
Most staffers do that; not all of them do.

The Forza and Forza GT are newer balls than the Revolt Vengeance (obviously).  At the time of release, the Revolt Vengeance was a medium-heavy ball.  If it were released today, it would be in a slot below the Forza and Forza GT.

Motiv (as well as pretty much all companies) places their new releases according to the overall current lineup.  The Revolt Havoc and Primal Rage Remix are stronger than the Forza and Forza GT which explains why in today's lineup, the Forza and Forza GT are listed as medium oil balls.

How true that is. Unless we can predict the future. I have my eyes on the Forza GT and money set aside for it. Just looking for something a little longer and stronger than the Cobra. Hen top it off with the Havoc.

Thought about the Paranoia, but that things a book monster.

The GT will be STRONGER but it won't be longer, not unless you polish the heck out of it.
