I bowl maybe 5 tournaments a year but bowl quite a bit on a THS. Right know my Dream On just isn't cutting it on heavy oil. I have it down to 1000 abralon and it just doesn't handle heavy oil like I thought it would. Considering the Jackal for heavy oil. Since I do not bowl that many tournaments I would like to know if anybody can use this ball on a THS. I hate buying a ball and just having it sit in my bag except for sport/tournaments shots. I thought about moving the pin down on my Dream On to see if that helps but this Jackal has peaked my interest. A pearl ball that is dull and hooks like like a great idea to me. Motiv looks like it is coming out with some great new stuff.

Since the Dream On is a hybrid sometimes it skids just a bit too far on heavy oil. Pin down would get it to hook just a little bit earlier. No weight hole currently in ball.My IQ Tour will hook earlier then my Dream On due to it being a solid cover. I love my IQ Tour on Med. but it doesn't quite have the pop I need on the heavy stuff. Also looking at the Tour Nano as well but the reviews on the Jackal are amazing.

I have it drilled 4x4x2 with no balance hole. You have me thinking about adding one now to get more flare from ball. I would like to go from most hook to least in this order:  Dream On 1000 grit  Respect 1500 polish   IQ Tour  4000 grit   IQ Fusion  1500 polish and Super Natural  Thanks for the help.
