Jackal Rising is the real deal
« on: January 16, 2018, 09:58:19 AM »
I was able to use my Rising last night right off the drill press. 258-214-201=674  Ball is everything I thought it would be and more. Still learning exactly what this ball can do but so far so good. For me the ball is just a bit cleaner then my Ghost but it really brings it on the back end. I did go to a pin above the ring finger layout on the Rising. I have my Ghost drilled pin down. I can really see me starting at most of the houses I bowl with the Rising. I probably should have balled down to my Covert or even my Shock but I wanted to see what the Rising could do when the lanes started hooking a bit. Ball never burned up one bit. A few operator error mistakes the last game and 1/2 but the ball never hit weak. Sometimes my pin down Ghost would leave some flat corners when the lanes dried up a bit. No sign of this with the Rising. That is just what I was looking for. Try one, you won't be disappointed.

I haven't used mine a ton, but am pleasantly surprised at how good it is when I really open the lane up, I typically have major carry issues when I throw that strong of a ball and cross boards with it. It also blends out wet dry really well, so it definitely is useable on walled house patterns for those of us that are rev dominant too.

I took mine down to 1000 abralon. I have a spinner release that ends up into a nice roll. I have shot back to back 700's on the house shot. This ball is a beast. The backend hook into the pocket that I am getting is perfect for me.
