Motiv Revolt Revenge
« on: December 10, 2014, 03:44:49 PM »
The Revoltâ„¢ Vengeance delivers a punishing blow on medium-heavy oil. Its overwhelming power and continuation are derived from the new Turmoilâ„¢ HFH Reactive cover stock and Vanquishâ„¢ weight block.

The Vanquishâ„¢ weight block was first introduced on the Covert Revoltâ„¢. It combines a low RG and high differential to produce substantial track flare and hook potential. It is a worthy component of the MOTIVâ„¢ arsenal.

New Turmoilâ„¢ HFH Reactive is a hybrid cover stock that has been engineered specifically for the Revolt Vengeance. The Solid Black and Ash Gray Pearl are integrated to produce moderate length and bulldozing continuation on medium-heavy oil.

It is just hard from a Pro Shop to stock the "newest" release when the month it comes out, the next newest piece is on the net. At least when companies release 2-3 every 4 months, the consumer feels their ball will not be replaced in 45 days. Like it or lump it, these practices have hurt Motiv sales in my shop. I now have a Tribal Fire on my wall that is now FOUR releases ago, and is 3 months old.  :o

But look at their most recent releases. They are all different.
Tribal Fire - high rg, med diff, polished hybrid
Jackal - low rg, high diff, asymm, strong sanded pearl
Forza - med rg and diff, early sanded solid
Revenge - low rg high diff, strong polished hybrid

All 4 of those balls can offer completely different motions. Motiv is not a company that caters to people who believe in the newest thing being the best, they release balls to complete a lineup. They seem to be more of a company geared towards bowlers and not just consumers

Tournament bowlers care about those numbers. Not your meat and potato league bowlers. They see "new" and not whats inside. I understand their business model and I am not mad at them for doing their releases this way. But the average 180 bowler doesn't understand why their ball is old within a month. I do like Roto Grip's method of 6 balls a year, 3 every 6 months. This has been a simple solution to the saturated market that only seems to be getting worse.

Perhaps by dividing your pro shops balls physically into categories would help the average 180 bowler see that the Tribal Fire still is the newest Motiv ball for the type they needed.  Just a thought.

MOTIV Jackal LE .................40 x 4.5 x 40 p2.5
MOTIV Revolt Vengeance......45 x 4.0 x 50 p3
MOTIV Forza GT ..................50 x 4.0 x 70 p2.5
MOTIV Sigma Sting..............50 x 4.0 x 45 p3

Ha! And the Hyper Cell is the newest Solid Asymmetric from Roto Grip. Bowlers care about new, thus the rapid production rates these companies have.

Bill,
If it was any other user I would probably agree with you. But Mr. NHLFan has been nothing but a...Richard...in every thread he has entered. This wasn't him making a joke, this is just him....Richard, a very big Richard.

Now on to the ball, it may be too early for this, but how will this compare to the Venom Shock?

Slow down Motiv, you guys announce a new ball like once a week.

He's making a funny, all of you "professional pro shop operators" slash "professional bowlers" lacking a an actual sense of humor...dang!

They do a release every 45 days, this has been posted numerous times on here! 8)

It is up on the website now. Listed as the Revolt  Vengence. I was thinking of getting a Primal Rage for a Pearl but might wait for this one. Cant wait til the videos come out.

The Vengance will sit between the Rage and Revolt.
