I like how the ball looks. Have been thinking of trying a MOTIV ball and this one has my interest. Can only afford two new balls this season though so I'm being very cautious with my decisions.

From my understanding, this ball is definitely NOT just a purple covert Revolt. The red overseas one was just a color change. This has a different coverstock. It's an earlier reading, slightly stronger motion. It will be taking the place of the Covert on the chart. If it wasn't a better option for that spot on the chart, it wouldn't be being released. I for one, am cautiously excited. The covert is my favorite ball ever. So even though I'm disappointed to see it being replaced, if the havoc ends up being better...whoa.

And to answer the question regarding why it isn't on the Motiv site yet...just too early. The Redline came out just last week. This one doesn't come out until mid October. I don't think they want to take any attention away from the Redline yet.

Here is a bit of information I received today on the Havoc, ....

A new Revolt Havoc coming in the early fall and will have the same vanquish core in it as with all the other revolts. As far as shape goes, it is stronger and earlier than the original covert revolt but much more continuous down lane. Best suited for heavier oil patterns.
