Medium oil pearl, Sigma core. Basically a Sigma Sting with an updated coverstock. WWRD around the end of August.. Two tone red. Cool looking ball

It's not on the website yet so there is nothing for them to copy and paste. Other than Motiv Mags and Justin Wi, the rest of the Motiv staff who post reviews here don't seem to have the ability to form complete sentences on their own.
"If guns kill people, do pencils misspell words?"

"If you don't stand for our flag, then don't expect me to give a damn about your feelings."

The Motiv Rogue Blade will be the most versatile ball yet and will be clean down lane. I had one drilled 6x6x6 and the angular motion to the pocket was amazing. The great continuation through the pins will make this a must have ball in your bag.
Balls: Motiv Trident Abyss, Motiv Golden Jackal, Motiv Hydra and Motiv Hyper Sniper. All made in the USA.

I have been informed a new one should be coming around August. Rouge Blade, Hexion SE cover at 4k, Sigma core.

If I had to guess, this will replace the Chronic on the chart.

I mentioned it in the link above last week. It is replacing the Chronic on the chart. Its more of a Sigma Hybrid upgrade.

I was able to use my Rouge Blade on every condition.  I've never thrown a ball like this, continuous through the pin deck and kept the pins low.

10 thumbs up!

In all seriousness, if this ball is like an updated Sigma Sting, I'm going to have to get one. One of my favorite Motiv balls.

The Sting was discontinued before I switched to Motiv. Tried to pick one up but couldn't find one so this may be a definite buy for me. I'm curious to see the difference between the Rogue Blade and the OG Paranoia.

When you say Sigma Hybrid do you mean the Sting or the OG hybrid?  I think I may be the only person on this planet that loves the OG Sigma Hybrid.  Plus the Sting is pearl.

Sigma Hybrid. The new balls is 4k dull. The sting was what, 5000 polished pearl? Yeah, we will see but it is supposed to replace the Chronic on the chart.

Put a few games on it so far, with my summer travel schedule it is tough to get on the lanes. That being said...

I brought a Hydra, Rage LE, Rouge with me on my travels. Because I worked Expo I was one of the first and still one of the few to have thrown it up to this point. I drilled it 5" from PAP, 8118 compliant with no hole. I have bowled on both Anvilane and HPL, fresh, broken down and open play. It handled all well.

It is as you would expect earlier and rounder than the LE, more surefooted in the pattern. The great thing about the new versions of Hexion is the reaction strength in friction and consistency and continuation, thus carry and room for error, are improved. This one also seems to be the most resistant to lane shine as after 20ish games it still has a duller sheen to it.

When I need a ball that floats the fronts and makes a strong angular move I grab the LE, if the fronts go I grab the Hydra. The Rouge I have seen success with pretty much everywhere in between and is playable from several angles, and is very good at telling you what is out there. The cover is tuneable and you can make them pretty darn quick with shine.

I would solidly suggest it as a benchmark, consistent reaction, is strong in both oil and friction, and is very tuneable. The beloved Sigma core is a GREAT engine, and with each generation of improved coverstock tech it continues to prove how good it is.

I truly believe this ball will provide many styles a very successful look outside of the very dry and very wet ends of the condition spectrum. Usually a Venom Shock is the first ball you would recommend for someone new to Motiv, this one may just give it a run for its money.
