Well should be 2 great shots.  Little turtle back then was know for tough shots and I am sure Vic at Georgetown should also have a good shot out.

The Shootout at the Fort is held at Georgetown Bowl.  It has been held there for the last 11 years I believe.  It is not the Masters held at Westwood.  The competition that the Shootout gets are alot of out of state bowlers and PBA players.  Pays 5,000.00 to win.  Great tournament to bowl in if you love tough conditions.

I agree Trace is very knowledgable at Georgetown Bowl in the pro shop, and Mark Fore ended up getting Alan Dreyfus who used to work at georgetown and who drilled my bowling balls all the time.  He is also a great ball driller.  I learned everything from Alan.

Yeah, Trigger I know that Classic drills alot of stuff.  I know personally that they never drilled any of my stuff because I would work with Alan and would be there when he drilled it.  I have lived in Wisconsin now for 6 years and have never found anyone around here that can drill as good as Alan did for me.  I now drill my own stuff because of that fact.  It is cheaper for me and now I can drill everything the way I want it.  If you see Alan tell him Derek said hi.  I haven't seen him in about 2yrs now.  I am going to be in fort wayne though for the Shootout.  My parents still live in New Haven so I still get there every once in a while.

David Schoen "DrillWizard" from here at ballreviews is located in Indiana.  He specializes in Buzzsaws but is a full service proshop.  Very good prices and service.

I am the old man here I think from Indiana, I did bowl the state in March and shot 1925 with a 550 in singles. I have bowled in every house in northwest Indiana at some time or other. My personal heroes in bowling are Gordy Baer. I watched him shoot 848 back in the 83-84 season. That was when bowling was a shot and not a ball.............
