I'm going the week after you, tank38. Going to be interesting to see what type of shot is out this year after all the drama last year. A lot of guys I know aren't bowling this year because of it.

Looks Like some big scores are being shot so far, I guess the shot isn't too bad this year.

Definitely one of the easiest shots in a number of years (Erie was easier but other than that I don't remember one).  Team starts out a little tight then gets wide open.  D/S was wide open from the get go for me, but dries up pretty quick.  Take something with some length and don't be afraid to get left in D/S.  I threw the ball terribly, left a ton of splits, drank waaaaay too much and still shot 1860 :)

Got back from states yesterday, the shot certainly was a lot different from last year and was playable from different angles. I thought it was a little speed sensitive which caused me to leave a lot of ten pins at both houses. The DS house had some area around 10 and I only had to make a couple of small moves to stay in the pocket, I scored pretty good even with the ten pins and finished with 679 & 710. We got put on a used pair at the team house and they were pretty beat up and dry by the time we started, I had to play deeper than I like to and managed a 605 with a bunch of ten pins again. All together for 9 games I had only 3 opens and I made 19 of 20 ten pins.

Went over the weekend. Don't know how the fresh shot is because we bowled at noon. I'm not sure how many games were played before we started. I wouldn't suggest bringing anything aggressive if you're bowling at that time. This applies to team, singles and doubles at noon. They reoiled after we bowled singles and doubles. That was about 4 pm if you want a fresh shot and can't make the early time.

We bowled at noon for team and we ran into the same issue. You definitely need something less aggressive for the second shift lanes.

Went May 20 and 21st. Bowled at noon both days. So, burn for teams and singles and double burn for the doubles. Been having issues with my back so I couldn't throw the ball hard enough to score well. Couldn't get a sub, so I just had fun and experimented with some different hand positions. Enjoyed meeting Greg Bickta at Perfect Aim pro shop and may go back out for a Motiv seminar/demo days later in the summer. But there was a shot there, I just couldn't hit it.
