I'm a mediocre newbie. From where I am, bowling is in budding stages. We do have small scale local tournaments though. I get my equipment  on line from

I must say that those guys are amazing. Specially Dustin Seymour whom I usually interact with. Anyway I ordered and got Path Rising Blue Dark Blue Pearl.

This ball on spec sheet is shown as hook potential 4. But actually it turned out to be a hell lot more ball than this. I got it drilled 5x4x3 PSA layout and IT IS AWESOME.

I'm so impressed I'm going to order Pathogen as well. Let's see how it plays.

YOU WILL LOVE THE PATHOGEN best ball they have made yet and i have 2 of these. use it as first ball out of bag.

Pathogen looks great and their new stuff looks as good as the big manufacturers!!! The curse, force, and antidote look amazing!

my path rising needed to have the surface changed because it was burning up.
I wanted it for late games on travel leagues after the lanes started to have some burn. So when I changed the surface to 3000 and polished it it was just right. So if you fee it is too strong just change the surface. These are great balls and for this season I am using Path and PBS balls only.
