Just wonder if there is any chance to see a urethane ball from Radical, or some new formula like BTU? ^V^

Since the BTU is in the Brunswick line, that would be a good choice as Radical does not have anything in the current line with a cover like that.

Just as a heads up though, I would call that Fanatic DTU (different than urethane) as opposed to necessarily better. Don't get me wrong, I like my BTU in certain situations, but it's a unique beast that takes some people time to get to know.

It's definitely better than urethane in that it doesn't burn up early. However, as a no-thumb bowler, even at 500 grit, the BTU comes off the dry a lot harder than my Black Hammer or Natural Pearl. As such, there are times when I want something mellow, yet the BTU is still too strong when it sees friction. Now, maybe lower rev rates see more control than I do out of mine, but I just felt like getting that out there.

We do not have any planned in the near future. There are plenty of options on the market and the total urethane market is very small. We do offer some drill patterns that mimic urethane motions.

Gene have you tried a close pin to pap layout on the BTU.  That should take care of your problem with how hard it reacts off of the dry for you.

The grape rack attack reminds me of a urethane motion. Maybe its just my style and drilling. I still say the grape solid rack attack is the most underrated ball ever made.

I've been trying to find a 15lb but haven't had much luck

My daughter bowls junior league and will quit at the end of the season in a few weeks.  She doesn't like to bowl anymore and she throws 14, just like me.  I'm going to take both her Rack Attacks (purple and red) and redrill it for me!!!  Score!

I decided to mitigate the issue as best I could through surface adjustment as opposed to redrilling; however, if I were to drill up a second BTU, I would definitely put the pin closer to my PAP. Again, not a bad ball, just one that took a while to get what I wanted.

Hasn't Phil said the Rack Attacks with a pin closer to the pap the closest thing to urethane they were going to make?

Yes. He has proposed that concept a few times.

Resin, I don't care how weak, with the pin close to the axis will still NOT give you a urethane reaction when urethane is needed.  The cover will still be too strong off of the friction and now you have no recovery in oil.   Suggesting otherwise is just a sales pitch and a way to get you to purchase something else.

if you want urethane, get urethane somewhere else.

I'm glad I got a 15lb nib Rack Attack solid off ebay a while back. I still haven't decided to drill it yet! I've heard great things about it and wanted to for a rainy day ball or when I want a different reaction.

Hey Folks, I got the Fanatic BTU to go along with my Motiv urethane Tank. At my center the lanes are usually dry from8 to the gutter so I have been having success throwing my Tank

but in the first game the Tank is a little weak to do its thing so thats why I got the Fanatic BTU
since everyone says that its stronger then a real urethane, well, I hope so! I'll be throwing it tonight for the first time. I'll report back in with what I find, btw, both balls are drilled with the pin under the fingers.
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...
