LANE CONDITION

Length:40

Volume:

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):ths

COMMENTSMY primo is drilled  55 x 3 x60  First three games 780  smooth through the front of the lane  with a strong change of direction and roll through the pins.  This ball made easy adjustments as the lanes burned up.  2 and 2  and just keep striking 2 and 1 more kept it going well for 5 games  Great ball  for me angular off the spot with power   18mph 400 rr
From the Priome  move right into the Rave similar layout, go back to the right and keep striking

The Primo is the latest addition to the Reliable Line. This ball has a new updated core with a versatile cover stock. The new core offers an ever wider range of shapes through different layouts. I drilled mine 75/4.25/40. This ball is great on the house shot and allowed me to stay in the track area and open up the lanes. The continuation and pin carry from this ball is unlike any other symmetrical ball I have seen do date. I also bowled on the 39' WTBA Seoul with this ball. In order to get it to read at the right spot I had to sand it with a 2000 siaiir pad. The ball reacted exactly how I wanted it to with the surface change. I liked the reaction with both the box finish and at 2000 so I decided to drill another one. This is a great addition to anyone's bag and will quickly become your go to ball.

Drilled my Primo 55* x 5" x 40*

This new release in the Reliable Use Line from Radical Bowling Technologies is a real gem!  Perfect as we approach the league bowling season, for a variety of house patterns.  I've used this on heavier patterns, square up and still get enough kick on the back end, and can still use it on some patterns which are closer to the Sahara.

Being this is the newest ball in the Reliable line, and since the Yeti's are discontinued, I'm not going to compare to any ball within the line.  I will compare to a Grease Monkey Whack...another favorite of mine (same drilling in Primo and Whack).  The Primo is about 4 more than my Grease Monkey Whack!  Radical is releasing some great bowling balls, and even though you may not have heard of them very often, you need to throw their equipment.  It is really good!

The cores and covers are matching up so well, it's outstanding.  I'm happy to answer question(s) you might have about any Radical Bowling Technologies bowling ball.  Shoot me an email, chrisheringer@gmail.com

– Drilled 40 x 3.5 x 30
This ball is very under rated and should be in your bag period. The cover/core combination allow for a variety of drilling options and many different bowling styles. This is a great addition to the Radical lineup.

Here is the new addition to the reliable line, the Primo.  For this ball they used a completly new core with the patented scoop core design.  They combined this core with a proven coverstock to create a realy versatile ball.

Because I wanted it to be my benchmark ball, I used one of my favorite drilling on it, 75 x 4 x 60 with the pin in the ring finger and no weight hole.

The box finish is a 500 siaair with a royal compound on it.  On the lane, the ball was really predictable in the midlane with a strong continuation through the pins.  Compared to the Master, I was 3 right with my feet and 2 with my eyes.  Compared to the Rave, I was 2 left with my feet and one with my eyes.  Because of the compound, the ball clears the head really well even on lightly burned lanes.  I used it after a league and the ball wasn’t over reacting in the front.

The coverstock can be modified easely to suit bowler’s need.  For bowler with higher ball speed, the compound can be sanded to get the surface to a 1000 grit or even 500 grit.  For bowler with lower ball speed or for bowler who wants to use it on dryer lanes, a factory finish can be applied on the compound to get more length.

To conclude, this ball is a great benchmark.  This is the first ball I take out of my bag when I don’t know the lane patern.  This is one of the most predictable and versatile I’ve thrown.

The Primo is great on medium oil lanes.  This ball reads the mid lane like no body’s business and provides a continuous motion on the backend.  This ball is a true sneaker and would make a great addition to any bowlers’ arsenal.

LANE CONDITION

Length: Multiple

Volume: Multiple

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Multiple

COMMENTS The Primo is the latest ball in the Reliable line. This ball has become the first ball out of my bag on anything except heavy oil. The Primo reads the midlane like no other and still has plenty for the backend. Great ball for any house pattern. BENCHMARK!

Likes: Midlane

Dislikes: higher volume but not what it is for.

Likes: Ill be honest when I say that I was surprised how much this ball hooks. With my pin over ring layout, it was very comparable to the Master. However, to get the same angles, this ball is best on Medium. It is a very smooth and controllable ball as well.

The new Primo is the newcomer in the Reliable line. This ball will replace the successful Yeti line. The Primo is really impressive for a symmetric ball. It gives you a pretty good read in the midlane and it keeps a lot of energy in the backend.

For me, that ball has a lot of versatility. That's why it's now my benchmark ball. I can play it on fresh or later in game 3 or 4 when I need a stronger ball to play deeper inside part of the lane and need backend. I punched it 60x4.75x50. It gives me a very predictable reaction and it complements very nicely my Diva Divine.

The Primo is a must have for any bowler who play on THS or need a pearl ball for anygiven condition. Just a little surface adjustment and the Primo will be your go-to ball.

Radical Primo
By: Scott DeMarsico

Drilling 75x3.75x55

The new Primo was is a ball I was really excited to get. I loved the Yeti Untamed and thought this would be a slightly stronger version. Haha, slightly stronger was an understatement! I drilled this ball with the same layout as my Untamed and headed to the lanes to see how they compared. I warmed up with the Yeti Untamed on our 43ft house shot. I wanted to get lined up and then see how much different the Primo was. I immediately had to move my feet 5 with my feet and 3 with my eyes inside of where I was playing the Untamed. I noticed that the Primo was stronger in the midlane and stronger and more continuous at the breakpoint. I would start to hang corner pins with the Untamed when I was forced deeper. The Primo just kept hooking from every angle. Because of its strength on the backend, I prefer to keep this ball at 2000 grit to smooth out the lane a little more. This is a great replacement for the Yeti's and is very versatile ball.

Likes: With all the hype of the Supreme and the Ridiculous, let's not forget the Primo. This ball is just amazing. If you are a league bowler or tournament player looking for that 1 ball that will get you out of trouble, get the Primo.
Since day 1, I knew this one was special. A TRUE benchmark ball. The Primo will fit most lane conditions. On a THS, you can keep going left when you chase the oil and the Primo keeps a great entry angle. I shot 299 last week in my last game of qualifying, where I did just that, chase left and throw it in the hold spot, the ball had a perfect roll. I drilled mine 50x4.75x35.

Having bowled with the entire Brunswick line over the past few years, the Primo is my first ball under the Radical brand.

I drilled this one 45 x 4 1/2 x 35 with no weight hole.  I continue to be impressed with the length, versatility and hitting power of this ball.  For me, this ball rolled a little early in the midlane, burning off some energy and created forward roll into the pins.  It is the ideal ball for medium-oily lanes and is a great addition to your already strong Brunswick arsenal.

Likes:  I drilled my Primo using dual angle of 15x4x65.  For me this ball is great (very clean) through the front part of the lane.  It starts to read in the mid-lane, but still has a nice smooth motion to the pins with great carry.
