It is me, or does anyone else feel like Radical is copying or riding off of the popularity of some Storm/Rotogrip balls?...   First the Katana Slash (Code Red), now the Ludicrous.  Does it remind anyone of the No Rules Pearl?...  LOL.

I know what you might be thinking...  That's just Ludicrous, man!...   :)

Peace!

Phil would argue that Radical's not copying anyone. They've come up with new cores and covers to create the specific ball motions they've wanted to achieve when introducing something into their line-up.

Eh. The Katana Slash is more ball than the Code Red like the Katana is more ball (and more angle) than the Code Black. Color scheme is about all there is in common.

Agreed! Cores are totally different and Storm did copy the gold ball! Lol You can look at the colors and compare a lot, but we look for reaction don’t we? Lol My wife picks bowling balls by color! Lol

Not comparing apples to apples. Comparing the concept.

Radical Ludicrous,
I’m a bowler with ball speed around 14.5 to 15 mph. My Rev Rate is around 275 to 285 rpms. My axis tilt is 13 to 15 degrees. My axis rotation is 33 degrees. I just recently drilled up another Ludicrous. My layout choice is a 45 x 4 1/4 x 35. I must say this is a great layout for this ball. It’s all purpose layout. It works great reading the pattern. It has a great shape on my house shot. Looking forward to trying it out on some sport patterns real soon.
I think with this layout a lot of bowlers that play a medium hook or bowlers that play more up the boards. Would love this ball.
