How do you all like these two balls and what do you like more?

I can only speak for the V2 solid, but here is my opinion on that ball:

I love the way it moves, strong and predictable. Great carry through the pins. I have not had it long and have not used in the league yet.

When there is a radical ball on the return and others see how well it does, people certainly ask about it.

BTY - One person that bowls in our league shot his first 800 with the V2 pearl last year.

I have both.  My Reax v2 is a dud.  I've tried two layouts on it and several surfaces, the ball just does not want to get going for me unless it sees a ton of friction.

My Reax solid has been better.  It has a nice consistent but powerful reaction on both the 42' house shot at my home house and on longer sport shots. However I can't say I'm in love with it.  Though it works on several conditions for me, I haven't had too many instances where I felt like it was my BEST option.

For what it's worth, the Reax pearl is a stud.  Our sport shot league switches patterns every week.  I've used it almost every single week. It has a very benchmark type reaction for me.

I've a good success with both of them. For me the original Reax is a monster on synthetics. I've a good looks on wood but the volume has to be there if not it just burns up to early. The Reax V2 for me is one of my favorites in our entire line. I've used it on all surfaces and pattern types with OOB and adjusted surfaces and love the consistent reaction that I get. The Reax Gusto is one that if you bowl on lower volume patterns or second shift league that will absolutely dominate the pattern.

The original Reax definitely needs a lot of volume in order for it to come to life.  I have taken mine to 4000 and shined it up for my house shot in order for it to be useable.  On heavier volume this ball will shine.  The Reax V2 with its OOB surface has the ability to retain a lot of its energy before it makes a move in the backends.  Original will rev up sooner and V2 will have more energy in the back.
