Reax Gusto mini review
« on: August 07, 2014, 08:10:29 PM »
Hi bowling fans, wanted to share my thoughts on this great release from Radical. I've been on staff now since January and couldn't be happier (thanks Phil "newguy"). Their phil osophy like they say it is to increase scoring through technology,  man are they doing an excellent job.

The Reax Gusto is the final piece in the Reax line. I drilled mine 50×5.25×35 (high tilt). The ball gets down the lane great and drives towards the pins when encountering friction like there's no tomorrow. I've bowled on a 3 day old house shot that had been played on a bit and could open the lane up all I wanted without sacrificing any carry. By the way, this ball hits, real nice carry. Even on a fresh lighter volume shot, this ball is money. Colors look great on the ball, its good for low rev, lower speed  player looking for some hook or high revs looking to have fun with a good hooking ball that gets down the lane. Later, I'll get a video up on youtube to show what this ball can do.

If you haven't drilled a Radical ball yet, definitely stop waiting. Mo and Phil keep getting the job done and innovating ball motion. That's Radical!!!

When the lanes break down nothing rolls better than this piece. This with my Ringer Platinum took care of my lighter pattern needs. It's rare when you find a lighter condition asym. When you find one you got to get it period. Then for it to be a hybrid allowed me to have two in my bag. One for heavier Genius and this piece. Since being on staff Radical has really surprised me on the quality of the equipment and the shapes it provide you to have in your bag. The layouts with the state of the art tech of the cores/covers make Radical a dangerous weapon indeed. It won't surprise me that by next yr Radical will de-throne a lot of the top names.

This is my point of view and not of Brunswick Inc.
