2nd night out and the Uncaged showing its strength again:
201 (3-10's & a 7-10), 279, 288 = 768
This is going to be a great addition to the arsenal.

Not intending to hijack but - do you have the gusto and if you do how does it compare to the uncaged?

My Gusto is more angular on the back and it has the same drill pattern on it also. Most nights I'm not able to use the Gusto, left at OOB finish, due to the volume of oil our house uses. But when we get alot of people using dull equipment or playing on top of each other the Gusto makes them look easy again.

I saw a Radical staffer using an Uncaged last night in league and in pot games. I'm not surprised at all that it appears to perform better than the Unleashed and Untamed. The Uncaged kind of reminds me of reactive pearl pieces from 20 years ago when it gave scratch bowlers like myself that wow factor, realizing that I now had an extra board to work with on the lanes.

What I shared with him, though, it seems that Radical's pearl pieces seem to be more, for a lack of a better word, livelier, and versatile than their solids. Maybe this is something that Phil can explain.

The Pearls for a better term are simply one of our resin bases with more projection additives. We could have made them solids and they would have performed the same. Pearlizing our balls is simply cosmetic. We add has much of the additives that we feel would create the desired motion. I can honestly say we have the best resins in the industry and the most additive options available. That is why you see dramatic differences between our "pearl" solids and "hybrids"

783 with the uncaged tonight drilled pin up 43 X 5 1/2 X 25 dual angle lay out with no weight hole.. its a beast on the back end. missed 2 10 pins so I should of had an easy 800 set tonight, maybe next time out with it.. ball speed 19+ MPH with a 500+ rev rate and a 7 step aproach

it turned many heads as I was throwing it all nigth and had several people walk up and ask what I was throwing and where they might be able to get 1 there pro shop dont have any of them because hes a big storm guy lol

they hit a big time grand slam with this ball thats for sure.. this is a must ball to have in anyones PBA bag thays for sure.

I've gotten one Storm loyalist to convert and have started on my second this past monday first night with his Reax Version 2 he shoots 824 and his comment was, "You were right I should have tried Radical sooner this stuff rolls Great".

ive had 4 people change over already from storm and roto grip in the last 2 months, now im working on a columbia guy later today when I give him a lesson and let him try some of the stuff I have drilled up ..( version2 solid uncaged times up pearl GM and GMP ) I have found the lower I have the dual# on these balls the better they roll then if I go over a 100. my sweet spot seems to between 65 to 80.. I cant wait to see what is to come out next, IM sure it will be a new line with a new and improved weight block. Now thats Radical

I'm hoping that Phil can answer this, if he recalled the introduction of the Track Sensor II, which is the first reactive resin ball that I bought and one that I'm still using after being away from the game for 18 years. This was the ball that had me bug-eyed because I had an extra board to work with on the lanes back in 1995, and it hit really hard.

Is there any current Radical 'pearl solid', as you refer to them as, that is similar to in characteristics as the Sensor II? The Uncaged comes to mind because of its motion and hitting power. Then again, I could be comparing apples and oranges; I hope that I'm not.
