Dare Devil Danger: My Opinion, Pt 2 *New footage*
« on: November 22, 2017, 07:18:56 AM »
That's right, I didn't just chop up the same video I used for the other two, I went and got new footage specifically to reflect this ball's wheelhouse.  I beat up the lanes filming my Hyroad Nano video, so my first shot is the "these lanes are beat up" shot, then I really see this ball come alive.  The All Out is still my first ball out of the bag and the set up, but this ball is my new garbage time ball.

Unrelated to the DDD but since you made mention of it, do you think the All Out Show Off would be better on a fresh condition when a Marvel Pearl is struggling to finish correctly, or is it not quite strong enough for that spot? Trying to use the Marvel Pearl on the fresh and getting over/under and corner pins. I guess I shouldn't be surprised with it's surface but I love it in too many other conditions to change its surface.

Yeah, the All Out is better for me on fresh.  Marvel Pearl is a tad stronger overall, but the shape of the All Out makes it a much better look for me on fresh.

You should NOT be starting with a Marvel Pearl unless you have extremely sharp backends to get it tip. You have a NRP, why arent you starting with that?

NRP and Phaze II currently plugged for span and pitch changes, so I've been rolling the Marvel Pearl. I'll be throwing them soon, so not really an issue but a new ball is fun. I thought I could make due with it on the fresh but I've discovered I was wrong.

Luke,

So would the DDD be better for the 3rd game breakdown in a 5 man league than the Ink or would the Ink be a better choice? Thank you

Usually I'd say Ink, my experience with the Danger also seems to be different than others like Tamer.  It's great for me, but might be too much ball for burn for others.
