Daredevil Trick Video Review
« on: March 09, 2017, 12:18:10 PM »
Once again, as always, thanks for watching.  Daredevil Trick is very smooth, it's like the ultimate sport ball for medium to heavier volume/length patterns.  If you like the IQ Tour Solid but want something that rolls heavier or hooks a bit more, this is the ball.  Extremely versatile ball, I feel like it's kind of a can't miss choice.

Great video and commentary.  I have a question, how does the DDT compare to the IQ Nano?

Great video and I noticed the same thing with its versatility. I've had it for about a week now and thrown it on 4 different lane conditions and have yet to be like "man I can't use this ball today".

It's a bit earlier and smoother, probably a couple boards stronger overall.  Theoretically it's pretty close, but the biggest thing for me is always shape.  Very similar hook potentials, pretty different shapes for me.  Nano feels more like a weaker Alpha Crux, Trick feels more like a weaker Menace.

Would u slot this in-between the !Q tour solid and marvel-S?  How does it compare to those two and the OG marvel solid?
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

More like stronger IQ Tour Solid, and no, it's not as flippy as the Rocket Ship.  You could even say stronger Torrent . . but the shapes are different for me, the Torrent still has a pretty "clean" look where the Trick is very muddy and very smooth.

Yes actually, not as much ball as the Marvel-S, but a few more boards and a few feet earlier than the IQTS.  It's just a stronger IQTS, shape for me is very similar.  Similar to OG Marvel Solid, but again, just a few boards weaker.  The low RG makes it very rolly, but the medium-ish differential doesn't quite allow it to make that big turn on the backend, so again, it's very reminiscent of the IQ Tour line.  Early revving, lots of control, and just the right amount of turn on the backend.  This ball will win an event at the OC this year, I'd bet money on it, it's just the perfect kind of ball for that tournament.

Sounds like the Phaze II would be stronger overall, but which has more motion down lane in your opinion??

Theoretically the Phaze 2 is stronger, but really just stronger on the backend.  It feels like the cover on the Trick is stronger, but the Phaze 2 covers more boards on the backend with the differential being higher.  They actually put me in the same area of the lane, Phaze 2 is just longer and stronger and Trick is earlier and smoother.  I'd put total hook nearly identical between the two.

A buddy of mine I feel is very reputable. Bowled college, coaches high school. He told me that he likes the Dare Devil Trick. Reason being because he can keep moving left and maintain carry, where as the Phaze II will start to crap out some. Sound accurate?

ITZPS, the difference provided by potential is an excellent point, and very appreciated. Thanks.

After seeing it in person, the ball is gorgeous with the gold lettering. Using that as the tie breaker between getting it or the Phaze II haha.

Yes that's entirely accurate.  Once the Phaze 2 gets a little lane shine on it, it gets really squirty.  Every once and a while a Storm ball will do this and I don't know why.  Torrent gets some shine on it, great ball.  Rocket Ship gets a little shine on it, gets squirty.  IQ Tour Solid with some shine, great ball.  Sure Lock with some shine on it, best ball ever.  Trick with some shine on it maintains reaction better than Phaze 2 most definitely.
