Daredevil Trick Video Review
« on: March 09, 2017, 12:18:10 PM »
Once again, as always, thanks for watching.  Daredevil Trick is very smooth, it's like the ultimate sport ball for medium to heavier volume/length patterns.  If you like the IQ Tour Solid but want something that rolls heavier or hooks a bit more, this is the ball.  Extremely versatile ball, I feel like it's kind of a can't miss choice.

The feedback is making this a tough decision..... But that's what it's all about. I admit I hate a ball that gets squirty with shine, but just not sure the DDT will bend when I need... I maintain the equipment well though, so maybe not a big deal.
Hmmm....

#surelock lol.  Phaze 2 really takes a lot of cover maintenance, but yeah, Trick is pretty smooth.  When I don't strike with the Trick, 90% of the time it's because it didn't quite make it back up the hill.  Now keep in mind that that's what happens to me 75% of the time anyway, I leave WAY more 10 pins than 4 pins.

I've looked at all 3 videos again.... If I look @ what's missing in my game, it's clearly lack of punch in the back end. So, I'm hearing DDT is smooth (i've got that already x 4)... Phaze II has some punch but high maintenance, and Sure Lock is made for a low rev player like myself, handles shine well, but it's asym, which has disappointed me every time in life EXCEPT for a recently acquired Vandal, where I may have found a drill I actually like on asym. I shouldn't even mention NRP, which I assume is a stronger Vandal...

Trying that right now. Will let you know in an hour or two if it helps, but I doubt it'll hurt.

You think a ball is going to fix the fact you can't create angle down lane?

Hi guys. Slow day bugging others I guess. Come on in, it's all good. You're welcome here.
To answer the question though... No, it won't fix the lack of angle, but I've been really interested in the difference the Vandal has made compared to what I was using before, and hoping to learn a little more diversity in my game, so yes, I appreciate all the feedback I can get.

I'm loving the original Daredevil. When the NRP starts leaving flat 10s, I can switch to this ball and most of the time it is the answer. I can get a little more left with my feet and swing it a little more. I love the way it rolls. Just put in my order for the Trick last night. Should be here by the end of the week. I'm thinking this will be an even better 1-2 combo than what I've been using so far - at least the way our house shot has been playing lately.

When I say pics of the Daredevil Trick's core, it immediately stood out that it looked like Storm's old Turbine Core. The numbers on the Trick match up exactly to the specs of the 14lb Turbine Core. That may make me grab one of these; I've always liked that core!

Just noticed that. Never had a chance to try that line. The 15 minute video Schlem and Stu put out has convinced me to get one.

Wait you move left when you go from the no rules pearl to the dare devil?

Correct. Due to the cores and the way I have them drilled, the Daredevil is better for opening up the lane for me (not that I get way left - still more up the outside).

I got my Trick last week and it is definitely a lot stronger for me than the NRP and DD. My pearl balls would usually hold on slightly tugged shots. Not this ball. For the 2 times I've used it, I've had to move about 5-7 boards left with my feet and 2-3 with my eyes right from the start over the NRP. Definitely need to watch the speed as well.
