Hustle Ink Drilling Layouts
« on: March 21, 2018, 08:31:49 PM »
Just wondering whose drilled multiple hustle inks and what layouts you found you liked better?

I know this balls a lower range ball but from what I’ve seen it has quite the hook potential.  I’m bit stuck between putting a longer pin for length but scared it could be too snappy on the back or go with a stronger layout to blend it out but having the ball too strong & defeating the purpose of having a weaker ball.

Any thoughts leave a comment below.

Peace ✌🏻

With that core, I don't see different layouts changing much, the surface is where it's going to be with that ball.  At box, my 5 1/4 pin and 4 pin don't act terribly different, but I went to 2000 on the 4 pin and that made a pretty big difference, though surface alterations should make much bigger differences than layouts to begin with, BUT layouts matter progressively less and less as the balls get weaker.  Just put your favorite layout on it and play with the surface until it acts like you want it to.

Going weaker on the pin does reduce the flare though, and that will slow it down a tad.  My 5 1/4 is a bit smoother than my 4.  Going with a stronger pin on a weaker ball really will just increase the backend move because the cover isn't strong enough for the extra flare to help it get going much earlier, it's just going to flare more and respond quicker on the backend.

Im in love with the Fanatic core and just recently got a great deal on multiples so i went ahead and drilled 2 more differently, left 1 blank for later use, to give me variety. Havent had a chance to throw yet but looking forward to this weekend possibly.
