The Locos have been really popular around me. A lot of people throwing them and still buying them. Our shop has sold 3 more this week.

They're not strong but they're not weak. Get plenty of length and have good continuation. The solid a little smoother

I'm hearing the reason it didn't last was because of the colors. I refer to this ball as the baby IQ Tour. Seems to roll almost identical to how the IQ Tour rolls for each bowler except more length and less overall hook. I'm quite disappointed that they've completely taken it off the market.

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but 900 Global going back to pouring all of their balls in San Antonio might have something to do with it too. That's where the Locos were poured at and if Storm is bringing back all of their stuff to Utah (total speculation) then they might have just decided to do something totally new instead of shipping everything over they would need. Just a thought.

Personally I like the colors. The solid purple is what caught my attention.I am an old fart and solid colors I like.Lots of the what I call clown balls if the color does not match your roll its hard to get a read on what the ball is doing.
I am hoping that the ball is not very strong. Most of the weaker balls are really not that weak if you have any hand at all.So hoping it will fill a dry slot for tournaments.
We have a couple of really tough tournaments every month.Challenge patterns and some just made up.Usually by the end of the day its toasted and urethane just hooks at your feet and you get nothing down lane. Thanks for the responses.Just thought it odd that this ball has not sold well and already being replaced.

Couldn't agree more, the Loco Solid gives me an IQ Tour look on short oil and second shift burn.

I initially loved my Loco Solid so much I went and ordered a backup for when my original died out.
Throwing my solid on various sport shots what I found was that the Loco was overly sensitive to carry down.
As a rev dominate left-hander I found I could start with my Loco on the fresh, but as soon as I saw just a smidgen of carry down  it would go from high flush to 3-9 after about 4-6 shots.

Hope this helps.

Carty, I agree, the solid "out of box" can be sensitive to carry down. For what it's worth, I keep mine at 4000 abralon (use a new-ish pad) and it's greatly reduced the down lane sensitivity. Might be worth a try.

Well drilled the Loco solid today. And all I can say is wow.Drilled it 70 x 5 1/2 x 30.What a nice rolling ball.House shot is only thing I have tried on.
Our house shot is really wet/dry.I could play in the dry and ball ignores the front and when it hits the backends is where it shines.Other balls I had with me rolled earlier and was like backends were not strong. It was like backends were very strong with the Loco.I stayed right and killed em with it.Reminds me of the pearl Hyroad.
We have a very defined oil line.If I tugged it it still held pocket where my other balls don't and that's a good thing on a house shot.
Really surprised as to why its already on closeout.First Roto Grip ball I have tried in a long time.Tried the deranged and hated it.This ball is making me look at the hectic very hard.If I can get same reaction out of it just a little stronger think it would be great combo. Thanks for all the input about the Loco.May grab another for a rainy day.

I purchased one a few weeks ago and changed the surface to 2000 no polish and I am very happy with the results, it doesn't seem to be overly sensitive, doesn't snap to hard and a very good ball and you sure can't beat the price.

I also changed mine to 2000. Once my rebel tank doesn't corner due to carry down I switch to the loco solid.
