Replacement For Saturn

I am looking at replacing my Saturn, I know a very old ball but money in the bank ball. Would the Devour be the closest thing to the Saturn that Roto Grip makes now? Thanks for your help in advance.

The numbers on the Saturn were 2.60 RG and .030 diff with a symetrical core. The Devour is 2.56 and .034, so it is close. Another close option would be the Loco Pearl, which is 2.57 and .025. Basically, based upon core numbers, both the Devour and Loco Pearl would start up a touch sooner than the Saturn. The Devour should finish a little bit harder while the Loco Pearl would lay off more.

Yup, that is where I was going to go.  I'd actually go with 2000 abralon on a Loco Solid.  It won't be exact but it will be the closest you will be able to get to with the current Roto Products.

Side note I loved the covers on the planet ball series.  With the exception of the Venus (pearl particle) these balls were very smooth off the spot for low cost, higher RG balls.

Saturn 15 lb.  2.61 (Med-High)  .028 (Low)  Factory Finish  800- Machine Sanded 

If you can find a 15 lb. Rumble 2.55 .030 2000 OOB that would be my choice to replace Saturn and then Loco Solid would be second @2000.  Also will depend on stats. and lane condition used on.  If you are seeing medium I might consider Devour if lighter then Loco Solid out of the current line-up.

Actually you can't replace the Saturn. If you just want to give it up though....let me know, I have two already.....both are money tournament balls. I could certainly use another, just let me know! LOL! ;)

I took the advice of some of you and ordered the Roto Grip Loco and changed surface to 2000 no polish and had it drilled as close as possible as my Saturn and I am one happy man. This ball does exactly what I wanted very good move at end with no over reaction. Thanks again to all who answered.

It may be a touch earlier but it doesn't seem to be as quick when it turns, if that makes any sense. It's like with the Saturn its I'm going to turn right now and does and the Loco is I'm going to turn but not a quick turn.
