I have only had mine a few days, so very limited action. I had it drilled pin up with no weight/balance hole so it would not be as strong. From what I am seeing so far with the 2 games on it, that it is smoother, but it picks up sooner than I want it to, and snaps a bit too much at the pin deck. I need to either adjust the cover or add some polish to tame it down just a bit. I need to go and practice with it so I can get a better read on it. That's all I can say for now. I believe after I get the cover adjusted and some more games on it, I will know when and how to use it in my arsenal.

I wonder if it's really stronger than advertised. Thanks metal for you insight.

I don't know about stronger than advertised. It's a 3000 grit Hybrid with Med RG Med/Low Diff. It's definitely on the rolly side and from what I've seen it's best suited in transition. It seems like the heavy handed guys in this area can always bank on 279+ in the 2nd or 3rd game with this ball. A staffer told me that this reminds him of one of his favorites the Outlaw (remake) for those of you who remember that ball.

For someone with slower ball speed or that's a little more rev dominant, they will be able to use this in a good amount of oil for a $150 ball.

I agree this ball was advertised as being strong, so maybe let's rephrase it as it's a lot of ball for the money.

After a few weeks and some more games, I have a new update. I added some polish (with grit) and slightly scuffed the cover with a grey pad. I now have a strong but very controllable rolling ball. Do not let the HP2 line fool you, this ball is strong. It is definitely the opposite of its brother the Wrecker. The Wreck-it is an arching ball with a strong , but smooth roll. You can use it on the fresh for your THS depending on your volume, I have for our THS.  For heavy oil there are better choices, but medium conditions to some lighter volumes this ball will shine. I hate to say its a must for your bag, so instead I will say its allot of ball for the money. You wont be disappointed!  ;)
