I would design a re-release of the RSP without the filler core and one of todays strong Coverstocks.....

I would do either a re-release of the Cell or possibly the Nomad series, with updated covers and maybe some tweaks to the cores.

How about something with a core strength that is inbetween the Triliptic and the Caliber cores, thats symmetrical kinda like the Marvel series with Storm and put a particle pearl cover on it?

My Arsenal:
Roto Grip Rogue Cell
900 Global Bounty
Storm CrossRoad
Hammer Blue Vibe

I would design something with the RS version of the Rotary core and a newer cover. Roto Grip re-used that basic Rotary core a lot over the years; however, the RS core was inverted, so it was a little different than all the other Rotary core balls.

Something with a solid cover that doesn't shine up everytime you throw it and keeps a decent reaction for more than 5 games.

That would be pretty sick.  In a good way.

If they were to redo the cell line with every type of cover, especially the ones they didn't make...and place in the upper mid price category....it'd probably be the best upper mid price line period.  I'd include a particle pearl, urethane...a 50/50 hybrid..plastic...basically all the things they could have done but didn't for the U.S. market...LOL malott would prolly appreciate it, as would I.

I saw there is a "retro" cell that is approved and I'm hoping that its for the US market...but I doubt it.

That was my thought exactly, tommyboy.   The defiant ball is very impressive, I can just imagine the damage a defiant core - SD73 covered ball would do on the lanes

Rotary Core with a plastic cover
Rotary Core with the Sure Grip II cover
Orbiter II core with the Microbite cover
Paragon core with the  Sure Grip II cover

I just like the thought of mixing up weaker core with strong covers, and stronger cores with weak covers

Definitely right about the Defiant.  In fact, I just drilled one up earlier this week and that ball has to be 1 of the best RG has produced.  I also like it a lot more than the VG Nano that I recently sold.

Now that SD73 cover and the Defiant's Paragon core you mentioned...that would probably produce 1 of the strongest balls that's ever been made.

Wow! A lot of intriguing ideas here. My fav pieces were Nomad, Epic Battle, RSP, Mystic, and Horizon. having said that and been watching the Defiant in action.....I'd love to see a particle pearl Defiant for added length, strength, and control!

cell original coverstock with the defiant core.. or infinite theory coverstock with the defiant core. the defiant is a little to strong for my preferances. but GREAT BALL. i would just rather bowl outside the 15 board on ths.
