Seismic Euphoric
« on: November 07, 2013, 11:37:57 AM »
COMING SOON - SEISMIC EUPHORIC

Seismic is excited to announce the upcoming release of our new high performance symmetric "Overb" core ball, the EUPHORIC.

The Euphoric uses the same core as the Euphoria Pearl but is now matched up with the LNC Solid Reactive cover (Solaris Blackout), which comes sanded to 4000 abralon. ...

The Euphoria was great when you wanted to get deeper on the lane and rely on a lane aggressive move when the pattern breaks down, so we wanted to create a ball that would break the pattern down to allow you to move to the Euphoria. Enter, the Euphoric.

The Euphoric is aggressive off your hand due to the strong cover, however the core does not overpower it in the midlane. You will see consistent push through the midlane to release pure aggression on the back end.

The Euphoric has great shelf appeal coloured in an attractive Dodger Blue and Cream Grey mix.

Get ready for that Euphoric feeling when you start shredding the pins with SEISMIC!

Yes sir, the Euphoric should be another fine addition to the lineup filling the void of a symmetrical solid left behind when the Blackout was put to rest. Should have some videos soon as staff balls are shipping out. Also if you are on the east coast and plan on attending one of the Seismic Demos you will have a chance to throw the Euphoric before its release.

Can't wait to get one as well...I definitely need a different look in my regular league.  I'm subbing in a sport shot scratch league and two regular leagues and bowling much better in the sport shot leagues than on the THS.  Lane consistency has been a big issue this year since Bowlmor took over AMF as they are not oiling as regularly as they had in the past nor laying out as much as they have in the past.  The scratch league is in a newly built upscale independent alley (Uptown Alley) but their shot has been rather good for the entire year thanks to Dale Niemela handling that.  I'm finding that I'm needing much weaker equipment to combat the conditions on our THS this year, but my current arsenal is not supplying me enough to cover that.  Hopefully when i get the Pt and Euphoric they will bring back that consistency I'm needing.

Just punched up my Euphoric last night and boy was it aggressive at the OOB condition. At the demo...all of the pieces were at 2000 abr no polish, and I knew that I really didn't need the ball to be at that surface for my 2 THS leagues that I'm bowling in....so with the word of the ball being released at 4000 abr, I was thinking that should help get the ball further downlane.  My Euphoric is drilled 45°x5.5x35° and definitely has some get up with her.  My Euphoria is drilled the same, and I had the idea of drilling the Euphoric the same just to have a slightly earlier look than the Euphoria but I got much much more early read with the same layout at OOB.  So I changed it to a true step up 4000 and it gave me a longer skid before transition.  Decided to go home and prep it the same as the Euphoria (4000 abr + secret sauce) and I'm going to try it Thursday at one of the THS leagues that I have been struggling at this year.  Hopefully putting all things equal (or as close to it as possible), the Euphoric/Euphoria combination will provide to be a winner for these lane conditions.  Ball looks great going down lane and I'm very happy keeping that same layout since I love the ball motion...but boy did I need more oil to sustain that look when i first threw it.

I just ordered the euphoric and I am really intrigued by its cover/core combo, what kind of shot or volume was the shot?

I just ordered the euphoric and I am really intrigued by its cover/core combo, what kind of shot or volume was the shot?

We had a 23.85 total volume, 41ft, 8.33:1 house shot that I was using it on...and the ball hooked too much.  The total volume has been changed, told to us by management, two weeks ago.  People were complaining about carry, which is a staple of our house in the first place, and they decided to lower the volume...go figue.  I really didn't think we needed to lower it, but it seems to have helped.  The day they changed it, we had two 300s shot, easily should have been 4 that night.  Last night, we had a two hander shoot 825....so the scores have shot up big time since the change.  Now I'm still having to player more of the lane (standing 35 on the approach), but I was able to use the Euphoric more in the middle of the lanes to avoid hitting that 8.33:1 ratio and the ball destroys the rack.  Kind of weird that I can use it there in the middle with the overall lower volume, but truthfully, I don't know where the lowering of the volume took place.  They could have pushed a little more volume to the center but lowered the end of the pattern or something.  I also have a Desperado TSE that is giving me a great look with this lower volume as well...but being able to flirt with that friction a little more than the Euphoric.  But the equipment rolls so great for me...and people are definitely starting to notice the brand and the controlled power it possesses.

WOW, that is truly  impressive, I got 5 new ones coming. Desperado TSE, Euphoric, Venator, Raging Horn, and Platinum. Can't wait to try these out and see what they do.

Euphoric is a versatile also. I drilled this one up 90x1 3/8x60 looking more for something smooth that I can play in track and a bit straighter. Layout and ball are great, on any THS I have tried it on I have been able to play 12 or so out to 8 ball moves early around and smooth no jumps off the dry and never quits hooking through the deck.
